After college (Liceo Scientifico) I graduated “cum laude” from the renowned Accademia Di Belle Arti Di Brera (painting), Milan, under the tuition of G. Ortelli, I. Bressan and mentorship of V. Bucciarelli.
I attended art seminars, like the international Summer seminar at Fondazione Ratti-Como, organized by the artists F. Somaini and G. Collina with visiting professors Gerhard Richter and Emil Schumacher.

For years I covered the Milan fashion week for a Japanese magazine.
In 1999 I moved to the village of Vrindavana, India, where I lived most of the time until 2005. I focused on the studies of Eastern philosophy under the guidance of Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Goswami Maharaja, while photographing pilgrimages and Indian saints for devotional publications. During my years in India, I had a few select costumers, asking for portraits and wedding reportages.
My pictures have been with Photonica Archive since 1995, which is now part of Getty Images.
I also work with video, and in 2009 was filming most of the workshops and interviews for Your Climate TV, during the UN Climate Conference in Copenhagen. I covered the World Service Project conference, in Amsterdam 2011, with video of all workshops and events.
I’m currently residing in Copenhagen, Denmark, but my soul-searching keeps me travelling, mostly in Asia.
